I would like to thank all of my CUTCO customers for
your support of Easter Seals.  Last year (2009) I was able
to donate over $500 to Easter Seals by giving a
percentage of each of my Cutco sales.

I have set an even bigger goal for 2010 to support
Easter Seals Central California:

I would like to educate as many people as possible about Easter

Seals Central California and create more awareness in my

community for this amazing local charity. 

The mission of Easter Seals Central California is to create solutions

that change lives of children and adults with disabilities or other

special needs and their families.  Easter Seals Central California

provides services for children and adults with disabilities or other

special needs and their families so they may actively participate

in the community with the freedom to choose how they live, learn,

work and play.

The reason that giving to Easter Seals of Central California is so

important to me is because the state funding that Easter Seals has

counted on to run their Camp Harmon program will not be

available next summer.  The deficit in California’s state budget

has caused this funding to no longer exist.  This means that up to

350 individuals who depend upon this funding to go to Easter Seals

Camp Harmon every summer (some participants have been going

for 44 years) will not be able to go to camp next year unless they

can be helped with a scholarship.

I have decided that I really want to contribute to this deserving

organization – my goal is to sponsor at least one camper to be able

to go to Camp Harmon. It costs $1,000 for one camper to attend

Camp Harmon for one week.   I am donating 5% of my profits from

every set of Cutco that my customers invest in.  I will also donate a

minimum of $1 for each Cutco purchase up to 5% of my commission

from every sale Cutco sale I have in 2010.  In addition I will also

donate one hour of my time for every Homemaker or Ultimate set

that my customers invest in.

I would like every person that invests in any Cutco with me to sign

my sheet of “Cutco Contributors” -  I would like to be able to post

a list of all of my customers that have helped contribute to Easter

Seals Central California’s Camp Harmon cause on my website also.  

So, if you do decide to help me towards my giving goal I would like

to have your permission to share your name as being a donor.

I will make sure that a portion of every Cutco investment goes

directly to support a deserving participant of Camp Harmon.

I do not want anyone to feel any pressure to purchase Cutco with

me – I only want to share my goal to help this worthy charity and

increase awareness in the community.
